The grant assessment encourages multi-benefit actions by giving subsidies. The latest version launched in 2017 focused more on preserving habitats, like protecting veteran trees and leaving deadwood in the forest, comparing to the Woodland Assessment Condition Form published in 2005.

In terms of new grant assessment, we advocate the reciprocity between humans and forests. Thus, we added carbon storage capability, fungus conditions, woodland functions, and giving back actions. Here we also provide the suggestion of the new grading system and take Hooke Park as an example.
